Alabama Basketball is currently in the middle of the SEC with an 8-7 record and on Wednesday night they have the opportunity to give their arch-rival, their first loss of the season.

In Nate Oats’ first year in Tuscaloosa, he has Alabama Basketball at 8-7 and the Tide also scores the seventh-most points per game in the nation. It is also because of this that with the exception of two of their losses, Alabama has had a shot in every game they played.

Five of Alabama’s seven losses have been by single-digits, with one being by one point against Penn, another being in double-overtime at Florida and a third being by two points against Penn State.

So that being said, Alabama’s record might say 8-7, but they are MUCH better than an 8-7 basketball team and they have proven as much so far this season, including their game against Kentucky this past week.

The question is, how will the Tide do when they go up against one of the two undefeated teams in the nation?

Auburn has been fantastic in the past 12 months, they won the SEC last year, they made the Final Four and now they are one of two undefeated teams remaining out of 353 teams across the country and are ranked fourth in the nation.

Now, they have to travel to Tuscaloosa and take on the Alabama Crimson Tide who scores the most points per game in the SEC and the seventh most in the nation overall.

So now the question is, what are the three keys for Alabama to beat Auburn on Wednesday night?
