NCAA Basketball: ETSU, AJ Green top mid-major performers of the week

Mid-Major Unbeaten Update
The previously undefeated Auburn Tigers lost both of their games last week (and they weren’t even close to add insult to injury). That means that the final unbeaten squad in the nation is, you guessed it, a mid-major.
The San Diego State Aztecs continue to roll along with an unblemished, perfect, spotless 19-0 record, the only team left in the country that can say that. And with the Mountain West having a down year (the preseason pick as the top team in the league, Utah State, has fallen apart after a strong non-conference. Oh, and the Aztecs already took care of them by nine in Utah.), there is a legitimate chance that San Diego State can enter the NCAA Tournament undefeated.
Will the committee reward them with a one seed at that point? They would almost have to, with how few truly great teams (zero??) there is this season. Wichita State was given a top seed in a similar scenario in 2014, but what was their reward? A grossly-underseeded Kentucky team waiting as the eight seed in the second round. Even if the Aztecs do get a top seed, can we count on them getting equal treatment as the other one seeds?
For now, we can only look at the resume. They have three Q1 wins (at BYU and neutral site over Iowa and Creighton), three Q3 wins (at Utah State and Colorado State, neutral over Utah), and a truck-full of wins in the other quadrants, without an opportunity to add any Q1 wins (although they have several chances at Q2 victories).
The one thing we currently know for sure: San Diego State stands alone as the only unbeaten team in the nation.
