No. 6 Washington Wizards – James Wiseman, 7’1″ 235lbs, C, None

The Wizards need to hit a home run and they need to do so soon, Wiseman gives them the best shot at finding a stud quickly.

The Wizards need to hit a home run and they need to do so quickly. With recent reports surfacing that have detailed star guard Bradley Beal is growing unhappy with the constant losing in Washington, they need to get things on track before Beal decides it’s time to look for a way out-of-town.

The Wizards actually still have some promise and they can swing big by settling on James Wiseman. Wiseman looked great in three games at Memphis against rather weak competition before he made his exit from the NCAA. Despite all that, Wiseman is still a seven-footer who moves really well for his size and knows how to put the ball in the basket.

It tends to take big men longer to develop in the NBA and that may hold especially true for Wiseman given his extended time off, but if he can harness his game into the player some people think he can become, then the Wizards would have a star on their hands.

Wiseman is the Wizards best chance at striking gold with this pick and if it pans out, a pairing of Wall-Beal-Wiseman would look pretty good for at least a few years moving forward.
