No. 17 Maryland basketball will be looking to keep their Big Ten momentum alive with another victory on the road against Indiana. Here are keys to the matchup Sunday at 1 pm ET on CBS.

Maryland basketball (15-4, 5-3 Big Ten) got their first victory on the road against the Northwestern Wildcats Thursday behind a career night from Jalen Smith (25 points, 11 rebounds) and a 29-point and nine-assist combined performance from Anthony Cowan Jr. and Aaron Wiggins. This game was a tale of two halves for the Terps. They struggled out of the gate in trying to get some offensive production in the first half but turned things around to leave the Welsh-Ryan Arena with a victory.

The Indiana Hoosiers (15-4, 5-3 Big Ten) handed the eleventh-ranked Michigan State Spartans their second loss in Big Ten play. The 67-63 victory for the Hoosiers saw them start off strong in the first half. They jumped out to a 20-6 run and ended the game with a stellar defensive stand on a Cassius Winston dribble-drive. Trayce Jackson-Davis had the key block on that play to effectively seal the victory. He and Joey Brunk combined for 26 points and 10 rebounds.

The Hoosiers showed resilience in this game and secured a key victory at home. It puts them two spots outside the top five in conference. This win also adds to the list of key wins for the Archie Miller led team who beat Florida State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Ohio State.

Maryland basketball has had key wins against George Mason, Temple, Marquette, Notre Dame, Illinois, Indiana, and others. Each of those wins didn’t come easy and even though the Terps have struggled at times, the wins have gone a long way in building the character of this team.

Wins on the road come few and far between in the Big Ten. Will that continue?
