To say NC State Basketball isn’t playing their best basketball would be a complete understatement. What are the keys to beating #6 Louisville and ending the skid?

There’s no debate that the biggest game of the season thus far for the Wolfpack awaits when a very hot Louisville team comes to PNC Arena on Saturday afternoon. Louisville enters the matchup coming off of a 17 point win at Boston College on Wednesday night. While NC State Basketball is coming off a 10 point loss at home to rival North

Carolina on Monday night.

Since coming off of the big win on the road at Virginia, NC State finds itself with a 2-game losing streak versus teams that were entering the game with sub .500 records. NC State put together back to back lackluster performances versus both Georgia Tech on the road and North Carolina at home. In both contests, the Wolfpack folded in late-game situations, something that will need to be changed fast if they have any hope of making the NCAA Tournament in March.

Throughout this season Louisville has shown that they are one of the best teams in the ACC, record wise they are alone in 1st place with a 9-1 record in conference play. With the Cardinals lone conference loss coming to the hands of Florida State in the beginning of January and since then they have won 7 straight. NC State will need to play a complete game in order to come away with a win on Saturday on ESPN at 2 PM ET.
