On Saturday, February 8th, another chapter will be added to the book that is Duke vs. North Carolina, the best rivalry in College Basketball. The question is, what does Duke Basketball have to do to beat their rivals from down the road?

Duke basketball, as per usual is one of the top teams in the nation right now, but something unusual is that the North Carolina Tar Heels don’t even look like a tournament team. Sitting at 10-12 overall and 3-8 in the ACC, North Carolina are fighting for their lives.

UNC looks like one of the worst teams in the ACC and they have proven just that, time and time again. However, now that they have Cole Anthony back they are somewhat of a different team.

With Anthony, the Tar Heels are 6-5 and without him, they are 4-7. If anything, to me this shows North Carolina isn’t great with, or without Anthony, but they are a LITTLE better with him.

However, the Tar Heels have yet to win a game since Anthony has made his return which to me, shows they’re a huge question mark of a team. The question is, which North Carolina team will show up against Duke, the team who beat Oregon or the team who lost to Wofford?

If I had to guess, it would most likely be the team who lost to Wofford seeing the Tar Heels are 2-7 in their last nine games, but rivalry games are always a different beast.

In the last 100 games between Duke and UNC, the Blue Devils and Tar Heels have each won 50 games while also scoring 7,746 points each. This being said, games between the two bring out the best in both teams and no matter how either of their seasons is going, they will make for a good game.

So with all that being said, here are the three keys for the Duke Blue Devils to beat UNC on Saturday:
