With one month of regular season play left, which NCAA Basketball teams are most likely to finish their conference season unbeaten?

With the Super Bowl nearly a week behind us, the focus of much of the sports world turns towards NCAA Basketball, especially with March Madness less than a month away. Before we get to that point, there are still several weeks of exciting regular season play ahead. There will be big-time games with a huge impact on conference races, NCAA Tournament seeding, and of course which teams will even be selected for the Big Dance.

With about a month left in conference play, there are still seven teams unblemished against their conference opponents. With 353 D1 college basketball teams, only these select few have managed to win all of their conference games. However, it must be considered that not all conferences are created equal. Some have played far fewer conference games than others, while a few of these teams are clear overwhelming favorites in leagues that are somewhat weak.

We’re going to take a deeper look at these teams and figure out which ones will keep winning their conference games. It’s important to remember that last season only Wofford managed to win every conference game and their conference tournament in March. There’s no guarantee that anyone will go all the way unblemished, though a few of these teams certainly have the firepower for that kind of run.

We’ll be ranking the teams from least to most likely to win out in conference play. The focus will primarily be on the team’s ability to win out in the regular season, not on the strength of their conference tournament. It’s very possible that a team on this list could finish the regular season without a loss but get upended in the conference tournament.

Without further ado, let’s jump right into the list of unbeaten teams, beginning with the one least likely to go all the way.
