Each player becomes more-and-more vital for David Cox and the Rams

As the days slowly skip by to March and things get more-and-more intriguing, it’s not unfair to assume the Rhody fan base would get cautious.

Games add up, and when four of your key players–Russell, Dowtin, Langevine, and Tyrese Martin–are averaging over 30 minutes per game, the fear of hitting the wall looms.

And that’s the risk the Rhody faithful must take.

Currently, the Rams are looking like a team that may not have to win out in March to go dancing. There is a chance that the Rams earn an at-large bid, but what if’s still loom.

Every year since 2015, the Rams have suffered a loss in February to at least one team outside of the KenPom Top-100, if not the Top-200.

It’s like clockwork.

And this is the give and take.

As David Cox gets closer to getting his Rams in the Dance with an at large bid, the Rams have traversed choppy waters which in theory could be every game from here on out when your rotation is so short.

But at this point in the year, with most of the odds defied by the surging Rhode Island Rams, one can only assume that the little engine that could from Little Rhody will be ready for whatever.
