64. . PG. Detroit Pistons. Tyrese Haliburton. 6. player

Detroit just sent Reggie Jackson on his way without a real long-term answer at the point guard position. Enter Haliburton, a multi-positional guard who might be the best pure playmaker in this class. He may not be a star, but he is someone who makes everyone around him better.

Onyeka Okongwu. 7. player. 170. . C. Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets appear to have a point guard of the future in Devonte’ Graham and some good pieces in Miles Bridges and PJ Washington. What their future core lacks, however, is a legitimate big man who excels in the modern NBA. Okongwu can be that guy with his strength, athleticism, and rim protection.

. PF. Chicago Bulls. Obi Toppin. 8. player. 24

I really like Toppin as a prospect. He’s extremely athletic at 6-9, strong enough to compete down low and skilled enough to excel on the perimeter offensively. Without a real quality wing available here, I’d look for the Bulls to add some needed depth to their frontcourt rotation. Toppin could also play the three in bigger lineups, too.

9. player. 142. . PG. Washington Wizards. Cole Anthony

We don’t know how good John Wall will be when he returns from his Achilles injury, and Bradley Beal may not be in DC for much longer. The Wizards already need depth in the backcourt, and Anthony would provide that while also giving them a potential long-term starter that could be a key piece in their current rebuild.

PG. Sacramento Kings. RJ Hampton. 10. player. 84.

Sacramento should be better than they are right now, yet one of the reasons they aren’t is because of their backcourt depth. Hampton would immediately upgrade that and has the size and ability to play either guard position.
