Arizona Basketball hosts Oregon at the McKale Center Saturday night on ESPN in a battle for atop the PAC-12 standings. Only one game in the standings separates 1st place from 5th place so this game has huge implications for who will come out as the regular-season champion as well as for seeding in the PAC-12 Tournament.

#24 Arizona Basketball has been on a roll lately, winning 6 of their last 7 conference games but have a major test against arguably the best team in the entire PAC-12. #14 Oregon has been led by National Player of the Year candidate Payton Pritchard and their strong three-point shooting. The Ducks are currently shooting .386 3P% as a team which ranks as the 9th best in the nation.

Dana Altman has his team playing good ball but is coming off a tough road loss to Arizona State in Tempe on Thursday. The road trip continues in the basketball-crazed city of Tucson, Arizona. This Oregon team on the road has struggled all season, only 4-7 when away from home.

Arizona is currently only half a game back of Colorado for first place in the PAC-12 standings so this game is very important for the Wildcats. Similar to Oregon, Arizona has its offense cooking on all cylinders. U of A currently ranks as the 37th best scoring offense in the nation while putting up 78.0 points per game.

After a successful trip to the Bay Area and a home win against Oregon State, the Wildcats look to continue to protect home court. Let’s take a look at the keys that Arizona needs to follow if they want any chance of upsetting U of O.
