2. If patient, they could exploit Arizona’s three-point defense

Both of these teams are very efficient when it comes to offense, as they are the top two teams in the conference in scoring with Arizona in the top spot with 78.4 per game, while the Ducks pour in 75.6. So, another key to Oregon picking up a win will be how they run their offense, with points bound to be in abundance in this one, the Ducks will need to be patient in running their offense to ensure that they are getting the best look possible on every possession.

Another reason this is an important key for Oregon is the fact that Arizona is one of the best teams in the country when it comes to field-goal percentage defense, they allow opponents to shoot just 39.5%, which is 30th best in the sport. One area Oregon can take advantage of is from three-point land, the Ducks shoot the long ball at 38% which is topped by just 12 teams in college basketball.

Arizona is a decent team defending the three-ball, allowing opponents to shoot 31.9%, but if Oregon can be patient when they have the ball and get clean looks from deep, that is an area that will give them a leg up over the Wildcats.
