Michigan Basketball is on a roll as they head into their matchup with Wisconsin on Thursday. What can they do to keep it up and beat the Badgers in Ann Arbor?

Michigan Basketball suddenly finds themselves near the top of the Big Ten after a 7-1 stretch including the last two on the road. The Wolverines once found themselves at just 2-6 in the Big Ten and losers of two straight home games. They were without their star forward Isaiah Livers and were struggling to score and stop anybody.

The Wolverines completely turned it around and have now won their last five games and look again like one of the best teams in the Big Ten. They have held their last nine opponents under 70 points and with the return of LIvers, their offense is again looking tough to stop.

Franz Wagner is starting to find his shooting touch, Austin Davis has been a force off the bench and Eli Brooks and David DeJulius have been shooting it well from the outside. Add in the continued confidence of Brandon Johns Jr. and the Wolverines have six or seven guys they can count on to score. That doesn’t even include the fact that Zavier Simpson continues to be near the top in assists per game in the country.

But with all the good the Wolverines have done in the last month, they need to finish the season strong and that starts when they host Wisconsin on Thursday in their only meeting of the year. The Badgers have been a surprise in the conference this year after struggling in the non-conference part of their schedule. They currently sit a game in front of the Wolverines at 10-6 in the Big Ten.

After losing Ethan Happ, not much was expected from the Badgers, but they have played well and have even pulled off some road wins this year. They won’t be an easy out for the Wolverines and they must continue to play at a high level as they have recently.

We take a look at three keys for the Wolverines to pull out a home win and tie the Badgers in the conference standings.
