25) Djordje Dimitrijevic (Serbia) – Mercer

Dimitrijevic has Mercer looking to finish with its best record since joining the SOCON in the 2014-15 season. After a dreadful 0-4 start to conference play, newly-appointed head coach Greg Gary’s team has gone 10-3 and the 6′ 2″ senior guard has been a major reason for the Bears’ run.

Djordje led all scorers with 18 points to give Mercer a massive victory at East Tennessee State a few weeks ago. He’s averaging 17.1 points per game (fourth in the SOCON) and has knocked down at least one triple in 27 straight games. Dimitrijevic is also fourth in the conference in both assists and steals and third in free throw percentage (84.3%). Put it all together and you’ve got a mighty impressive season and the makings of a Mercer team that could make some noise in the Southern Conference Tournament.

24) Ivan Gandia-Rosa (Puerto Rico) – North Florida

The Ospreys have shot and made the most three-pointers in the nation this season, and it’s really not that close. While it may be a fun claim for a basketball team, it doesn’t always lead to success. However, with Ivan Gandia-Rosa running the show, North Florida has shown itself to be something of an offensive juggernaut this season. The senior leads an offensive attack that features all five starters scoring over 10 points per game.

As for himself, Gandia-Rosa is second on the team in points, and leads the A-Sun in assists (6.4 per game) and is thirteenth in the nation in offensive win shares (3.9). He also has a very nice 2.61 assist to turnover ratio. The lefty can find the open man but can create his own shot as well. Gandia-Rosa has knocked down 74 threes at a rate of 39.4%. The Ospreys are just a half-game back from Liberty as of now, putting them in a decent position to make a run at taking the A-Sun Tourney.
