We’re less than 10 days away from Selection Sunday. This episode of the Busting Brackets Podcast focuses on the action that proceeds it.

Hosts Brian Rauf and Connor Hope are joined by co-site expert Tristan Freeman for another episode of the Busting Brackets Podcast. By the time many of you listen to it down below, the conference tournaments for some of the mid-major leagues will have already started.

That includes the Horizon League and Atlantic Sun, led by No. 1 seeds and favorites Wright State and Liberty. The guys take a look at what’s gone on in those events so far, before getting into the big leagues.

Virginia won’t have to worry about getting the auto-bid from the ACC Tournament, thanks to their huge run in the past month that has put them in the top-tier along with Duke, Florida State and Louisville. But are they capable of making another deep run in the Big Dance? Find out what the guys think about the Cavaliers.

UVA has an outside shot at winning their conference’s regular-season title, one of a few power leagues that are still in dispute. The Big Ten, Pac-12, and AAC also are up for grabs, along with a number of teams currently on the bubble. Find out why the regular-season champion of the AAC and Pac-12 may still miss out on the NCAA Tournament, and why the biggest surprise of the Big Ten is the Wisconsin Badgers.

A number of awards have been giving out in conferences who regular-seasons have already ended, with not too many surprises coming out. The national Player and Coach of the Year Awards have yet to come out but there is a clear shortlist of guys vying for them. Tristan and the hosts give their picks for who should win each of them.

Thanks for tuning into the latest Busting Brackets Podcast episode and please look out an early edition of next week, previewing the power conference tournaments and who’ll need wins the most. Until next time!
