With Selection Sunday less than a week away, this will be the last edition of my NCAA Basketball Power Rankings for the 2019-20 season.

The 2019-20 NCAA basketball regular season has now drawn to a close. As teams across the country either compete or prepare for their conference tournaments, the postseason has begun and thus so has March Madness. Selection Sunday is approaching in just under one week and that means that this will be the last edition of my Top 25 national power rankings for the season. For those that have been following along, I have posted this piece every single week since the preseason and it was a blast following each team’s progress through the year.

I poured a lot of words into this project over the course of the season and as this was an extremely exciting campaign to follow. Although the top of the rankings definitely solidified themselves over the final month and a half, that was not the case early in the year. Several squads held down the top spot in my rankings at differing points in the season with Kansas hanging onto it for the last few weeks. There were also plenty of squads that made runs to the top and others that only recently cracked the Top 25.

Over the course of the final week before Selection Sunday, I will also mention that I am posting daily bracketology updates at Busting Brackets for those looking for their fix of projected fields. This is also my fifth season posting bracketology throughout the year and I have rated eighth on the Bracket Matrix during this stretch in terms of accuracy. You can also be on the lookout for a complete rankings/breakdown of all 68 teams in the Big Dance replacing my Top 25 next week.

Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into the final Top 25 NCAA Basketball Power Rankings for the 2019-20 campaign.
