NBA Draft
NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 21: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver (Photo by Mike Lawrie/Getty Images) /

As the landscape of sports continues to change before our own eyes, the NBA Draft becomes less and less clear.

Currently, we are living through history. Sports across all levels have been completely shut down due to the coronavirus. Seasons are temporarily halted (or possibly over), people cannot leave their homes, and the situation has not shown improvement.

Despite the uncertainty of the moment, certain things must continue to carry on. That includes the 2020 NBA Draft, even under these strange, unique circumstances.

All season long, this draft has been considered a weak one. There are a few guys who stand alone at the top of the class as the elites, but from that point on there was a whole lot of uncertainty and guys who needed to prove themselves.

This year more than ever, March Madness and the combine were going to serve as a place for guys to stand out and prove their worth to NBA front offices and talent evaluators.

Performances on the big stages were going to have a hand in actually determining where guys went in this year’s draft. Now, all of that is (likely) going to be gone. The tournament was already canceled and the combine could be next.

Still, the show goes on, and one way or another, 60 guys will have their names called by Commissioner Silver come June. Click through to see who is going to fall where now under the new circumstances, including a surprise at the top.
