Future NCAA basketball stars filled the 2020 McDonald’s All-America Game rosters. What might those players bring to the collegiate level?
The McDonald’s All-America Game is one of the highlights of every single year in sports. This annual event showcases some of the top young talents in the entire country and puts the spotlight on the players that will take over NCAA basketball during the following campaign before heading to the NBA. It has been a tradition for several years and the 2020 rosters were once again filled with some of the most highly-rated high school seniors.
Yet, amidst concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus, the 2020 McDonald’s All-America Game was canceled. This was not a surprise considering the shutdown of most sporting events in the country at this time, but it still hurts for the players that accomplished so much to be named to the rosters.
Nonetheless, these athletes put together remarkable high school careers and their play will be consistently monitored over the next few years as they develop into truly some of the best basketball players in the world. Playing at the collegiate level is the next step for most of them before hopefully taking their talents to the NBA.
So, without any further ado, let’s dive into the 24 players that were selected as McDonald’s All-Americans this year to analyze their styles of play and what they might bring to their respective schools next season (if already committed).
20 of these players have already chosen where they will play next season and they are all exciting athletes ready to make a collegiate splash before dipping their toes into the NBA.
