NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Top class of 2020 recruits from all 50 states

California: Jalen Green, Prolific Prep; Evan Mobley, Rancho Christian School

 Jalen Green was named the state’s MaxPreps  POY after an incredible senior year as he averaged 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and five rebounds per contest to lead Prolific Prep to No. 7 ranking in the MaxPreps poll. The five-star prospect, who is a consensus top-5 player in the country, has 3,299 career points. He will play in the G-League next season. Meanwhile, Evan Mobley is the state’s top man, according to Gatorade, as he averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game. The USC signee, who is one of the nation’s top recruits, led Rancho Christian to a 22-8 record.

Colorado: Dominique Clifford, The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs)

Dominique Clifford averaged 24.5 points, 13.3 rebounds, six assists, 3.4 steals and 2.7 blocks per game. The three-plus star led the Coursers to the Class 3A state quarterfinal appearance. He has signed with Colorado.

Delaware: Jyare Davis, Sanford (Hockessin); Elijah  Allen, Dover HS

Jyare Davis led Sanford to the top Maxprep ranking in the state (20-3) as well as the semifinals of the state playoffs as he averaged 16.2 points, six rebounds, and two assists in 21 appearances. The three-star prospect is headed to Providence. Allen was named the state’s Gatorade POY after averaging 23.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 steals, and 3.6 assists. The Wagner commit also led Dover HS to the semifinals of the state of playoffs.

 District of Columbia: Terrence Williams, Gonzaga

Terrence Williams averaged 17.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while leading Gonzaga to a 25-10 record and the DCSAA tournament championship as well as the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. The four-star Michigan commit finished his prep career with 2,154 points and 1,090 rebounds.

Florida: Cade Cunningham, Montverde Academy

Cade Cunningham averaged 13.9 points, 6.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals while leading the Eagles to a 25-0 record, a No. 1 national ranking and a berth in the GEICO High School Nationals. He is a consensus top 3 player in the country and headed to Oklahoma State, where he is expected to make a significant impact. Cunningham was selected as the 2020 Naismith High School POY.

Georgia: Deivon Smith, Grayson (Loganville);  Walker Kessler, College Park (Woodward Academy)

Deivon Smith was selected as the MaxPreps POY after averaging averaged 17.3 points, 8.4 assists, 8.2 rebounds per game, and 3.2 steals per contest. The Mississippi State signee led Grayson to a 30-2 record and a runners-up finish in the 7A state playoffs. Smith is a four-star recruit who is a consensus top-65 player. Kessler is the states Gatorade’s POY as the 7-footer led Woodward Academy to a 30-2 record and its first state title (4A), averaging 17.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per contest. He concluded his prep basketball career with 2,001 points, 1,236 rebounds, and 525 blocks. The consensus five-star center has signed with North Carolina.
