Big man Frank Anselem is officially part of the 2020 NCAA Basketball recruiting class. Which set of teams is in the running to get his signature?

There are NCAA Basketball teams who are still looking for frontcourt help for the upcoming season. And with the top high school prospects and graduate transfers off the board, the pickings are getting slim. But some team is going to get lucky, with now class of 2020 center Frank Anselem now in the picture.

Originally committed to LSU as part of the 2021 class, the 6’10 big man elected to reopen his overall recruitment. Teams looking for another big man immediately went after the four-star prospect. His stock has been rising over the years, still relatively green in the game of basketball but Anselem has a high ceiling overall to his game.

The Nigerian center has a wingspan over 7’5 and projects as a great rebounder and defender. His offensive game has a ways to go (only been playing basketball for less than five years) but at the very least, he provides frontcourt depth for whichever program who can get him.

The four-star center provided a list of finalists, including Syracuse, Kentucky, Arkansas, San Diego State, Seton Hall and Western Kentucky. There are some elite individual recruiters among this group, making it anyone’s game to land this prospect.

So who will it be? With most of the rosters almost set, I’ll be taking a look at Anselem’s potential fit with each program, including the likelihood of minutes as a freshman and where he’ll most likely win at.
