Minnesota Golden Gophers

One of the first programs to reach out, Minnesota has the early for Gach if going closer to home is the goal. This may have worked out perfectly for the Gophers, as they already had a sit-out guard who committed this offseason in Drew Peterson from Rice. He turned around and re-opened his recruitment, opting for USC later on.

While mid-major transfers are a risky pickup, Gach has already proven that he can contribute at a power conference level. Alongside sharpshooter Gabe Kalscheur, he’d have a major impact on a Gophers team who needs to find production without both Daniel Oturu and Marcus Carr. And in the unlikely event that he gets a waiver, Gach would be an immidate starters for Minnesota next season.

Michigan State Spartans

The point guard position may be of bigger need for Michigan State this upcoming season but they have to be careful on the wings as well. Sophomore Aaron Henry is still in the NBA Draft process and Gabe Brown has star potential on him and should get even more minutes coming up.

Gach and his scoring ability would be needed for the Spartans while not being a high volume offensive player. Getting developed by head coach Tom Izzo would be a dream scenario, just like what Marquette transfer forward Joey Hauser did this past year.
