Kansas Basketball faces a load of uncertainty heading into the fall. However, the Jayhawks have a loaded non-conference slate to prepare for.

Kansas Basketball is in store for a nervous offseason.

Not because of NBA draft decisions, pending recruiting decisions, or anything of that sort.

Rather, the Jayhawks are awaiting an announcement from the NCAA on their punishment for multiple violations. While nothing has been announced, it is speculated that the punishments could include a postseason ban and suspension for head coach Bill Self.

For now, let’s put that to the side. Let’s just assume that Kansas is going to be playing basketball next season and that the Jayhawks will have something to play for.

Considering their blue blood pedigree, Kansas always has a loaded non-conference schedule. For the most part, the Jayhawks typically handle this slate well, with many good home games and neutral-site affairs.

This upcoming season could be a challenge for Kansas in that regard, as the Jayhawks have several questions up and down their roster. Without the presence of an experienced star, the lead up to Big 12 Conference play could be very rough for Kansas.

Let’s take a look at who Kansas will be tasked with to begin the season. Between the easy wins, trap games, and spotlight showdowns, here is what Kansas’ non-conference schedule looks like.
