9. Arizona Wildcats – Tibet Gorener

This will not be the last entry of an Arizona Basketball incoming freshmen. After finishing tied for fifth, with a 10-8 record, Coach Sean Miller is looking to improve with what seems like a whole new roster. The Wildcats will see two starters graduate and the other three who declared for the NBA Draft as freshmen, are all projected to be selected in the mid-to-late first round. Just for good measure, Coach Miller lost a couple of depth guys off the bench as they entered the transfer portal.

To remedy this problem, the fans at the McKale Center will be welcoming the top Pac-12 and top ten nationally ranked recruitment class. First on the list is 6’8 Tibet Gorener, you can read any scouting report you want, the bottom line should read, “this guy can shoot” especially if he is left alone in the corner. Depending on the media outlet, he weighs somewhere between 195-220 pounds, which means he is developing physically or he already did.

At some point, he will get stronger and that will make him all the more dangerous. It is already difficult to guard his shot for he can take bigger defenders off the dribble and hit a shot in the paint before the shot blocker comes across. Yet, he is more than capable to play with his back to the basket and back down smaller players. Once the other three recruits are revealed, it becomes obvious how much of an impact Gorener is going to make.
