The Michigan basketball team has a lot of questions as they head into the 2020-21 season. We take a look at the top three storylines for the Wolverines.

Juwan Howard has come in a made a name for himself as the Michigan Basketball head coach and will look to continue to improve the team for the 2020-21 season. Despite missing out on some very good recruits he has a very good team returning.

His first year started off with a bang when the Wolverines won the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament by whipping Iowa State, North Carolina, and Gonzaga. It helped Michigan jump from unranked to number four in the country.

While the season got bumpy in the middle of the year, Howard got his tea peaking at the right time and the Wolverines looked like a legitimate threat to compete for the Big Ten tournament championship and make a run in the NCAA tournament.

So what can he do for an encore this season? Well for starters, even with his misses, he is still bringing in the 12th ranked class in the country and has a good group returning. How good will they be without star point guard Zavier Simpson? Only time will tell, but they do have experience returning to fill that spot.

With so much uncertainty going on right now it is tough to tell what will happen with the college basketball season, but it is still fun to talk about.

With that, we look at the three biggest storylines for the Wolverines during the offseason.
