Who are the most accomplished head coaches in Horizon League Basketball so far this century?

While this can be said about a few conferences in the basketball world, Horizon League Basketball has fallen mightily over the course of the last few decades. A conference that once threatened for at-large bids has seen prominent members depart the conference and remaining and new programs have failed to pick up the slack. Regardless, there’s still plenty of intrigue in this league.

Throughout these years, the conference has produced quite a number of fantastic coaches. Even during its glory years, it isn’t easy to bring top-tier talent to the Horizon League, and all of these coaches have had their work cut out for them. We remember the coaches who succeed in the conference, and many of those use that success and move onto bigger and brighter things. Still, they leave behind unforgettable legacies.

We won’t forget those legacies, and we’ll be taking a closer look at ten of those coaches; the ten greatest in the Horizon League since 2000. The focus in our ranking is on a number of factors, though these are pretty clear. The Horizon League saw its fair share of success in the early parts of this century, and there are plenty of great coaches to examine.

Without further ado, let’s start running through these Horizon League coaches, paying attention to their accomplishments with these schools.
