Tallahassee Comunity College point guard El Ellis has announced his final eight schools. Here’s a breakdown of the NCAA Basketball teams that made his list.

El Ellis is one of the most highly touted JUCO players for 2021 and has recently announced the eight schools that he would be considering moving forward with his recruitment. The Durham, North Carolina native had a breakout season with Tallahassee Comunity College last year averaging 14.3 points 3.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game to go along with shooting 47% from the field.

Ellis is well rounded, he’s a great athlete that can get to the hole but will keep the defenders honest with his ability to knock down outside shots. He shot 40% from deep in his first season with Tallahassee CC. Ellis was also a 2,000 point scorer in high school.

Ellis has already made a number of virtual visits to schools that reached out, and most of these schools multiple times, during the spring. Ellis has cut his list down to Iowa State, UConn, NC Central, Ole Miss, Georgia, Oregon, Louisville, and Texas Tech. There’s a wide variety of programs on his final eight, two Big 12 teams, a Big East, a Pac 12, two SEC, one ACC, and one HBCU.

Ellis will be able to make an immediate impact at any of the schools on his list, he’s definitely someone to keep an eye out for on the Junior College circuit. Here’s a breakdown of the final eight schools on El Ellis’ list and how he could impact each of the programs.
