Florida Basketball transfer Andrew Nembhard has narrowed his final six schools and is expected to announce on June 22nd, which of his final six NCAA Basketball schools makes the most sense?

Andrew Nembhard has narrowed his list to six schools, Georgetown, USC, Stanford, Duke, Memphis, and Gonzaga. His father has said that Andrew will announce his decision on June 22nd.

Andrew Nembhard announced that he would be entering the transfer portal and leaving Florida shortly after he withdrew from the NBA draft back at the end of May. Nembhard is a likely sit one play two transfer who will bring a lot of value to whatever program he chooses.

An elite point guard at Florida, Nembhard averaged 11.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists. It’s widely thought that he felt like he was being held back in Mike White’s system and was looking for a program where he would have more freedom and flexibility moving forward.

Nembhard is originally from Canada but played his high school ball at Montverde Academy in Florida, he was high school teammates with his brother Ryan Nembhard who is a four-star prospect that recently committed to Creighton and NBA lottery pick RJ Barrett.

Nembhard was a five-star top-20 prospect coming out of high school and originally narrowed his list down to four teams, Gonzaga, USC, Florida, and Ohio State before picking Florida. Nembhard is a great passer but also has the capability of an elite scorer. His versatility and experience will be a huge bonus to whoever picks him up.

There’s a lot to consider with each of Andrew Nembhard’s final six schools, here’s how Nembhard could potentially fit in and which programs I think are the best fit moving forward.
