NCAA Basketball: Ranking 2021 4-Star G James White’s top 12 schools

5. Arkansas Razorbacks
Head coach Eric Musselman’s 2020 recruiting class looks to set the Razorbacks up for a big season. Despite notching 20-wins in his opening year with the team, Muss’ squad was not very deep offensively. He brings in a top-10 class complete with electric guards KK Robinson and Moses Moody, along with a group of talented transfers, to reload and bolster this season’s roster.
In Arkansas’ guard-heavy offense, there is plenty of room to share the ball and attack what the defense gives up. Their approach in 2019 was very balanced and will likely to continue in 2020 with an emphasis on reaching the foul line to hurt opponents. White fits in very well with this plan of attack, due to his versatility shooting the ball and knack for scoring in the mid-range.
Stars Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe have carried the team in the scoring column, but it’s their production on the glass and defensive end that has really pushed their success to higher levels. White has a similar frame to both players, along with an established jumper to immediately fit into the rotation, and has proven production as both a rebounding guard and a stout defender.
The fit with Arkansas is very strong, but Musselman’s continued recruiting success could lead to a backcourt logjam negating some of the potential upsides for White.
