Florida State Seminoles

Pros

There’s a reason why the crystal balls have been trending the Seminoles way. And while I may not know why personally, I can certainly say that this would be a tremendous landing spot for Warley. He fits great with the defensive-oriented system that head coach Leonard Hamilton employs, with there being a clear need for a starting point guard in 2021, with MJ Walker graduating and incoming five-star freshman Scottie Barnes likely around for one season.

If Warley wants to be a point guard in college, he certainly can pick Florida State and join current top-50 recruits Bryce McGowens and Matthew Cleveland, along with four-star center John Butler Jr. Adding a top-tier ball-handler would solidify this team having a top-10 recruiting class and fill out every hole possible.

Cons

There aren’t many negatives to consider for Warley playing with the Seminoles unless Barnes sticks around for another season. The point/forward thrives with the ball in his hands so that may force Warley to come off the ball more. The lengthy rotation the team works with also could potentially limit the guard’s overall production.

No matter how good Warley may be, the likelihood he averages more than 15 ppg is slim, simply based on the roster. Even still, Devin Vassell and Patrick Williams are likely 1st round picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, so that dispels the concern of a potential lack of opportunities to shine.
