NCAA Basketball: Analyzing top 6 teams for 2021 wing Jusaun Holt
Jusaun Holt is a top-150 NCAA Basketball prospect and rising star. Which programs are in the running to land his signature?
When it comes to the state of Georgia, 6’6 wing Jusua Holt has elevated himself as one of the top prospects. Not only in that state along but overall in the 2021 NCAA Basketball Recruiting class. Ranked in the top-100 overall a few months ago, Holt has slid a bit into the top-130.
According to 247sportsComposite, the small forward is just outside of gaining another star and becoming a four-star prospect overall. It’s an important difference when it comes to national relevancy but for the teams after Holt, it doesn’t matter.
At 6’6 and over 200 pounds, Holt already has great size to defend bigger forwards, while also having the speed and quickness to deal with smaller opposing players. He can shoot the ball, while also defending at a high level and should be an instant impact player as a freshman regardless of which program he ultimately picks.
The St. Francis Day High School forward is originally from the state of Washington, which explains their presence on this list. Xavier has a former teammate of Holt’s in four-star freshman guard Dwon Odom, while the rest have closer proximity to where he’s currently staying at.
So which of these teams represents the best potential fit for Holt? Here’s a closer look at each situation, including how the rosters project in the future, as well as the odds of winning at a high level.
