NCAA Basketball: Ok State, Va Tech, and Minnesota among Sean Pedulla’s top 8

Wofford Terriers
The Wofford program has been one of the better mid-major teams in the nation over the last several years. Names like Fletcher Magee, Nathan Hoover, and Storm Murphy, formed a formidable backcourt trio that proved to be a tough out not only in the SoCon but also in the NCAA Tournament.
Prior head coach Mike Young, now at Virginia Tech, heavily implemented tough guards that can score the ball at a high rate. His protégé Jay McAuley has taken the reigns of the Terriers now and is looking to provide his own tweaks on a similar philosophy.
Murphy is set to be the only player from the above group still left on the roster in 2020, but the program has not seen a similar step forward in production from their backups as they have in years previously. McAuley will certainly be looking for another reliable scoring threat to emerge from his roster and adding Pedulla could help plug that role immediately after stepping on campus. He has already proven to be a thorn in the side of many defenses and can pour points in from all over the floor.
In fact, Pedulla’s potential with the Terriers could eventually exceed that of Magee, Hoover, or Murphy. His overall impact on the floor, in regards to playmaking with the ball in his hands and ability to rebound very well for his position, put him in a spot to immediately produce at a higher rate than the 3 noted guards. The path to a starting role in his first season is wide open and Pedulla could easily make a name for himself at Wofford.
