While many guards and big men prospects have been making decisions, a key wing has gotten one step closer towards making his. It’s Alex Fudge, a consensus four-star NCAA Basketball recruit in the 2021 class. According to 247sportsComposite, the 6’8 small forward is ranked No. 45 overall and has risen in the past several months to become a high priority prospect.
He’s a very intriguing recruit in that he has great size at 6’8 and over a 7’0 wingspan but also the quickness and explosiveness we’d see from a natural guard. The Jacksonville, Florida native has great offensive potential and could very well play some at the small-ball power forward position.

It’s not surprising that this list is filled with programs from the Southeast, with the USC Trojans being the exception out west. With that in mind, location and proximity may not be a huge priority in this process. This means the relationships and on the court product could prove dividends in the effort to land Fudge.
