Just a decade ago, when one thought of the elite coaches in college basketball, the name Jay Wright wasn’t commonly mentioned. Yet in 2020, Wright’s name may be number one on the list. The two-time national champion was rumored to be in the running for the Philadelphia 76ers head coaching job just last month, but quickly shot down the rumors and has committed to the Villanova program.
