There are some talented players at the top of this year’s NBA Draft. But who are some of the players who are flying under the radar?

This year’s NBA Draft headlines have been dominated by guys like Georgia’s Anthony Edwards, Memphis’s James Wiseman, and of course, LaMelo Ball. Those three are the consensus top three players in the class, and for good reason.

Ball and Edwards look like future stars, and Wiseman looks like a dominant big man with a high ceiling. The class also has great players all throughout the first round, like Onyeka Okongwu and Isaac Okoro. All deserving of their first round praise.

But what about the players who aren’t viewed as first round picks? There are plenty of established draft prospects who are flying under the radar for multiple reasons, whether it’s not enough of a sample size, or maybe they needed that 2020 NCAA tournament to cement their name in the first round. Whatever it may be, these players aren’t looked at with the same praise as their draft colleagues.

Every year, there are a few players who fall to the second round or even go undrafted, but end up being major contributors on their teams. Nikola Jokic, who was the 41st overall pick in 2014, comes to mind. Khris Middleton was the 39th pick in 2013. It doesn’t matter where you’re picked, if you can ball, you’ll make it on a roster.

Today, we’ll take a look at five draft sleepers and give them the shine they deserve.
