The Arkansas bench will have plenty of new faces

The Arkansas bench will be full of newcomers, only junior forward Ethan Henderson is a returning reserve player, and the 6’8 forward will probably see minutes in a limited role again this season.

With Moody likely entering the starting lineup, 6’10 Jaylin Williams is the lone freshman with length, but he will have plenty of company with the additions of 7’3 redshirt-sophomore Connor Vanover who averaged 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in his last season with California.

Also eligible is 6’9 redshirt-junior Abayomi Iyiola who starred at Stetson with 10.8 points and 7.6 rebounds with the Hatters. With this size coming off the bench, the Razorbacks’ rebounding numbers should be much improved this year.

If Moody and Jackson do end up in the Arkansas lineup, the first guy off the bench should be transfer JD Notae. Notae is a 6’1 guard who last played at Jacksonville where he averaged 15.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

The other guard who could play a major role is 6’0 freshman KK Robinson who is a smooth point guard who if he shows enough, could end up in a starting role by year’s end. The only other guard who could find his way into the rotation is Davonte Davis who is a four-star prospect who may bigger dividends in years two and three than in his first year.
