10. Phoenix Suns – Tyrese Haliburton

The Suns had an amazing run in Orlando going undefeated and was a game away from making the playoffs. The Suns obviously need a guy to help them win now with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton entering their primes. R.J. Hampton is definitely an option here, but Hampton is very raw and is a pick for a team that is rebuilding.

Phoenix needs playmakers as they have one of the best scorers in the NBA in Devin Booker and a very good scoring big man in Deandre Ayton. Haliburton is an excellent distributor and will be able to feed Booker on the wing.

He is also excellent in the pick and roll game, which will work great with Deandre Ayton’s game. Yes, Haliburton has a wonky shot form, but he can hit the spot-up three, which is crucial for Booker’s teammates with most of the opposing team’s defense focused on Devin Booker.

The Suns do have Ricky Rubio starting at point guard and he does have two more years left on his contract. But letting Haliburton learn from one of the best passers in the game for a couple of years would be great for Phoenix. Haliburton is a guy who can be the point guard of the future and help Phoenix right away off the bench.
