After the loss of three starters, Seton Hall Basketball is looking to reload for the 2020-21 season. What should we expect from the Pirates this season?
November is here and Seton Hall basketball is just a few weeks away. Kevin Willard and his coaching staff are very high on this year’s team, after graduating three starters in Myles Powell, Romaro Gill, and Quincy McKnight.
The Pirates will have a few new faces on the court in the 2020-21 season, but the expectation remains the same: make the NCAA Tournament and excel in the Big East.
Last season, the Pirates finished ranked 15th in the nation in the AP Top 25. Last year’s Pirates team will always remain a question. How far could that Pirates team go in the NCAA Tournament? Did the Pirates have Final Four potential? Unfortunately, COVID-19 decided to wreak havoc on the world, so we will never know.
Now, Seton Hall will look to continue to hold themselves to those high expectations in 2020-21. The Pirates have gained new additions in Harvard grad transfer Bryce Aiken, now-eligible sit-out transfer Takal Molson, along with freshmen Jahari Long, Dimingus Stevens, and Jeff Ngandu. Missouri transfer Tray Jackson has also joined the team but will sit-out this season.
With Seton Hall kicking off the season on November 25th, let’s take a look at how the 2020-21 season might look in South Orange.
