Atlantic 10 Basketball: Ranking of top 20 players from the league since 2000

Who are the top Atlantic 10 Basketball players from the past 20 years?

Atlantic 10 Basketball has seen its ups and downs in star talent, however, as of recently more and more players are getting drafted and getting opportunities at the professional level. Last season can not go unnoticed as it was a big year for the Atlantic 10.

Obi Toppin, Dayton Forward, received several honors including Naismith College Player of the Year last season. Toppin will hear his name called this October as he is projected to go within the top ten of the 2020 NBA Draft. His performance will not be forgotten as he becomes one of the best players to come out of the Atlantic 10 of all time.

Outside of Obi Toppin, the Atlantic 10 has seen some great basketball players in the last twenty years including, David West, Jameer Nelson, and DeAndre Bembry. Even though there have been several teams to come in and out of the conference, we still need to consider players as they were apart of the Atlantic 10.  We’ll be taking a closer look at the twenty best college basketball players in the Atlantic 10 since 2000.

Over the last twenty years, thousands of players have come in and out of the Atlantic 10 conference.  Some of which have gone on to get drafted and get opportunities in the NBA. Others played overseas and some ended their careers after college. Each and every program that is currently and was formerly a member of the Atlantic 10 has produced talented stars.

Although I’d love to break down every star to come out of the Atlantic 10, I can only rank the best twenty since the year 2000.
