Big 12 Basketball: Ranking of top 20 overall players since 2000

19. Vladimir Brodziansky – F TCU (2015-2018)
Career Stats (3 seasons): 13.0 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 1.7 BPG
Although not on a team of massive amounts of success, Brodziansky was a bright spot on a program that did not have very many, in terms of success. Brdoziansky did help that narrative change for a small period of time, while he was there.
Transitioning from the MWC to the Big 12 is a lot different in Basketball than in Football and TCU went through those growing pains. The Horned Frogs won 14 games Brodziansky’s Freshman season, after he finished with 9.7 points, to go along with 4.5 rebounds per game and a block per contest after starting half the season.
Brodziansky and TCU’s success went up as a sophomore with first-year Head Coach Jamie Dixon at the helm. Although the Horned Frogs didn’t make the NCAA Tournament, Vladimir led them to a NIT Championship. On a ridiculous run, Brodziansky would score 18 or more points in a four-game stretch, including a win over Georgia Tech to give them the championship.
TCU would make the NCAA Tournament his senior year, for the first time since 1998. The Horned Frogs would lose in the first round, but a big step for the program at the time. TCU has not been able to build momentum off of that unlike Texas Tech. With that still in mind, Brodziansky will still go down as the best TCU player from the Big 12 to this date.
Vladimir Brodziansky made the Big 12 All-Defense list as a Junior, to go along with All-Big 12 2nd Team and All-Big 12 3rd Team as a senior.
