15. Georges Niang – F Iowa State (2012-2016)

Career Stats (4 seasons): 16.1 PGPG. 50% FG, 5.2 RPG, 38% 3P

From a college perspective, when you see Georges Niang during his Iowa State time, it looked like he would be equipped with all the tools needed to be a leader. That was exactly the case.

The Iowa State legend saved the best for last as he averaged just a little over 20 PPG and was a consensus 2nd team All-American. He made a huge leap in his efficiency from within the 3 point range as well, going from 48% all the way up to 60.

Niang would also be a huge success to his team, with winning 20+ ball games every season while there, to go along with back to back Big 12 Conference Tournament Championships.

He would go on to win the Big 12 Tournament MVP during their second title run, including a 19-point performance against Kansas in the championship game.

Niang’s career would be one Cyclone fans will never forget, as he was one of the major bright spots during the Fred Hoiberg era.
