Key Reserves

Race Thompson

Thompson, like Hunter, is a breakout candidate for the Hoosiers. He didn’t average a ton of minutes but showed some flashes during his time. In the last regular-season game against Wisconsin, he pulled down 11 boards and scored seven points. If he can improve his scoring and continue to be a threat on the boards he could see a lot of minutes this year.

Khristian Lander

The prize recruit of this class, Lander graduated a year early to enroll at IU in the 2020 class instead of 2021. Lander is the future at point guard and could very well be in the starting lineup to start the year. A smooth shooting lefty who great court vision, Lander has all the makings of a star for Indiana.

He is a bit on the shorter side, which is a little bit of a concern but his ability should trump that. It’s not if Lander starts it when. But if he is coming off the bench, then he will be a spark for the Hoosiers.

Trey Galloway

Hoosiers fans are equally excited for Galloway coming to Bloomington. He has great length and is an explosive athlete. He is a better than average shooter who can finish at the rim. He will be a good guy to have off the bench.

Jordan Geronimo

Everything we just said for Galloway could be said about Geronimo. Both are players the Hoosiers are extremely excited about and are high energy guys they think will be a big part of the future in Bloomington. They both aren’t quite ready to start but will be explosive guys off the bench.

Anthony Leal

Leal is the freshman that Hoosier fans are excited to have because of his ability to shoot. Leal is the better shooter of any of the guys coming in and if he can find his shot in the college game he could be yet another deadly shooter in the history of Indiana. Leal can create his shot but could be dealy if he is left alone and found open. He could be the key to improved shooting for the Hoosiers. If he can be the shooter they think he can be, Indiana could suddenly be a deep threat.
