UConn Basketball is back in the Big East, with arguably the best roster since winning the 2014 national title.

Expectations are high for UConn Basketball as they make their way back to the Big East after a short stint in the American Athletic Conference that saw the Huskies reach the top of the mountain and free fall shortly after. Dan Hurley has a roster that’s as deep as the Huskies have been in a long time that’s highlighted by star freshman James Bouknight.

Fear not, the climb back towards the top of the college basketball world is well underway as Dan Hurley has flipped this Husky roster completely over in just a short time. UConn boasts a lot of talent this season with the addition of a top 20 recruiting class and a transfer from Rhode Island. We’ll breakdown the players including who I think Hurley might march out there for the first game of the season.

UConn was picked to finish fourth in the Big East the other week narrowly being edged out by Providence. The Huskies will have tournament aspirations in hope of ending their short drought. After finishing last season 19-12, the Huskies were on a bit of a roll before the season was abruptly ended. There were many positives to take away as the Huskies looked to build towards this upcoming season.

Basketball is right around the corner, here’s a look at how the Huskies shape up for this season as they try to make their first NCAA Tournament Appearance under Dan Hurley.
