2. Cade Cunningham’s homecoming surprised in one aspect

There was no shock as to how much ability Cunningham has and just overall raw talent. His driving ability and passing is what makes him so unique. However, one of the biggest surprises to his game was his confidence in shooting the three and determination.

Cunningham has no hesitation to shoot the three as he uses the ball screen and a side-step move to give him just enough separation to shoot.

Further into the game, the freshman phenom would get more and more comfortable, as he finished with a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Down the stretch, he was clutch with free throws as he made his last four, just enough to secure a close victory back at where he grew up.

If Oklahoma State can have the season that Cunningham is expecting, these performances will have to be consistent, with the better teams that the Cowboys will face.
