Wisconsin Basketball ends the weekend with a 2-0 record after beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Wisconsin Basketball got its second win of the season with ease, taking down Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 92-58, Friday night. The start may have been the most pleasing to the eye, with Wisconsin opening the game on a 25-0 run through the first 9:55 of the first half.

A really dominant start, in which they had that run, forced 11 turnovers and had none of their own.

The Badgers had six players total 9+ points on the evening, led by Micah Potter who put in 19 points. Others in double figures were D’Mitrik Trice (15), Nate Reuvers (14), and Aleem Ford (10).

Arkansas-Pine Bluff had a few double-figure scorers of their own in Shaun Doss Jr. (16), Joshua Johnson (13), and Dequan Morris (10).

As mentioned in the preview for this matchup, these games very early in the season are more than about the wins or losses in some circumstances.

This could qualify as one, with the Badgers learning more about the depth they will have and need in order to replicate the success they have had throughout the last decade.

Here are three takeaways from the Badger’s win.
