If you love NCAA basketball, but also love to get in on the action, this series is for you.

What do we do here? Well, I pick my top 5 NCAA Basketball games each week. Not the five best in terms of my favorite odds, but the five most entertaining that you will be able to get on a major network, bet on and easily watch.

If the odds are already out there (typically the day before) I’ll pick a spread. If not, it’ll be a winner and since these games will usually be the most competitive matchups, it should lead you in the right direction to making a pick.

Look, these are not locks. A good bettor, though, is profitable, so 3-2 we’ll take. You will be able to find the locks on my Twitter page @drewschmelzer. Thus far this season our locks are 5-0 while taking all “dogs” to cover the spread, and 80% of those would have hit on the money-line. Again, find it on my Twitter.

It just so happens three of the top games (must be already scheduled not dependent on preseason tourney winners or losers) of the week (Monday-Friday) are tomorrow, so you get some spreads! Sit back, relax, and enjoy some college basketball while making a little cash at the same time.
