3.) St. John’s bench

In a game where the Johnnies saw multiple players get into foul trouble early in the first half, Mike Anderson was tasked to go deep into his bench and play five non-starters for more than three minutes mid-way in the first half.

The lineup consisted of McGriff, Addae-Wusu, Earlington, Caraher, and Toro struggled to put points on the board and allowed Rider to score eight quick points.

Rider would jump its lead to four points at 32-28 with two minutes left in the half behind free throws from Allen Powell.

Earlington was St. John’s most significant contributor of the night, scoring seven of his eight shots from the field for 16 points.

Josh Roberts featured in Tuesday’s contest for five minutes and was on the receiving end of an alley-oop in the first half. Addae-Wusu was 2-for-8 from the field and finished with four points and two rebounds.
