The Florida Gators played a great game despite dire circumstances

After the Gators lost their leader in Johnson, anyone would have expected the team to struggle for the rest of the game. They fought hard to get back within a reasonable margin by the end of the game. Credit goes to that entire team and the leadership of Coach White who handled the situation as well as he could.

We don’t know how long Johnson is going to be out. What matters more than basketball right now is his health moving forward. What we were able to see from the Gators was a solid man defense that was able to stifle the Seminoles offensively for the most part.

I look at Lewis, Tre Mann, and Noah Locke to lead the charge for the Gators. Don’t sleep on Colin Castleton and Tyree Appleby who combined for 13 points and nine rebounds. They are going to be x-factor players for this year’s squad. Both are transfers from Michigan and Cleveland State, respectively.
