NCAA Basketball: Missouri, Kentucky and Saint Louis lead Sunday Mailbag
By Bryan Mauro
This week’s NCAA Basketball questions pertain to the SEC, WCC, and a look at one team in the Atlantic 10 who fans should take notice of.
NCAA Basketball is well into the season and most of the teams who were shut down are now starting back up and gearing up to play their games. Many conferences are just starting conference play as others have just finished up non-conference play. This is the part of the season that separates the contenders from the pretenders usually.
It also gives teams a second chance to build their resume, if the non-conference portion of the schedule didn’t go as planned, those teams now have a second chance to change their season and qualify for the NCAA tournament.
This week also begins with the fourth mailbag of the year. The questions this week are around bracketology and the overall strength of the SEC conference. The questions are about total bids overall as well as the power rankings at the top of the conference.
Staying within that same conference we look at the overall outlook of the Kentucky Wildcats. The final question from a reader takes us to the West Coast Conference to look at the overall strength of that conference and who fits in after the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Just like last week, I will provide an answer to my own question. Thank you to all the readers and those who submitted questions this week. These articles are a lot of fun and I hope you all enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Please continue to send in your questions every week that you would like an answer to.
