How do all 15 ACC Basketball programs look after the completion of the non-conference campaigns? Here’s a ranking from 15-1.

In this very unique 2020-21 hoops season, ACC Basketball has been trying to chug along in the first month. After this past Saturday when Louisville beat Kentucky and Virginia fell to Gonzaga, the entire non-conference slate for the league has been all but completed.

Overall, it was a mixed result for the ACC. There are currently five teams ranked in the AP top-25 but none of them are in the top-15 overall. There were some good non-conference victories but overall, missed opportunities were a theme in the first month of the season for this league.

So was missed games, with a few teams having to go on “pause” due to the covid-19 pandemic. No one was hurt by this more than Wake Forest, who has only played two games total on the season. Duke was the only other team who played less than six games so far, although they voluntarily canceled one game against Gardner-Webb to give its players a break to go home for the holidays.

The others have played a fair amount of games for us to get a decent observation as to how good or overrated they truly are. There have been a fair amount of injuries to consider, along with the caliber of opponents they’ve played so far this season.

So without a clear frontrunner or two at the top, who should be at the top of the ACC Basketball power rankings? Here’s how I would rank each of them before the resumption of league play on Tuesday.
