Which NCAA Basketball programs have the best odds of landing class of 2022 forward Mady Traore? Here’s a look at how he fits with each of them.

As the 2022 NCAA Basketball recruiting class continues to take shape, teams are starting to focus more and more on players that are starting to rise in the eyes of scouts. One of them is Mady Traore, a 6’11 and 195-pound power forward prospect from France.

Currently residing in the state of Maryland, Traore has become a rising star in the region. He has good athleticism and a 7’3 wingspan, while capable of being both an interior shot-blocker on defense, while also able to spread the floor and shoot on offense.

Why still raw overall as a basketball player, Traore has great potential to be an impact player at the next level. And colleges agree, with several high-major programs handing the forward offers in the past couple of months, including some big names. Currently, Traore is a three-star recruit in the 2022 class, while 247sports has him in the top-100. In a few months, look for the other top recruiting services to have a similar viewpoint.

It’s an all-power conference battle for Traore, with the teams spread out all over the country. Location probably won’t matter much in this situation, so it’ll be up to potential playing time and the best overall situation to land him.

With Traore part of the 2022 recruiting class, this piece will be about his long-term fit with each program, both good and bad. Let’s see which of them stands out.
