This week’s NCAA Basketball Sunday Mailbag has been my favorite mailbag to date. The season is well into conference play and even though some of the bigger names in the sport are still on pause. The teams that are playing are providing a great brand of basketball and low and behold the teams who we all thought were going to be the best teams in the country are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.

As mentioned, this week was the most fun I have had to date answering reader questions. Why though?  I get to gush about the top teams in the country and how much of a joy they are to watch play basketball. One of the other questions focuses on Kentucky and if bringing in one of their older players is going to help them out overall.

Then we head back to the Big Ten to look at a team in Rutgers who is struggling to find it again after a hot start, and finally, we look at the Pac 12 and which newcomer can help propel their team to a March Madness bid. Finally, I will offer up one question of my choosing to round out the week.

As always, thank you to everyone who has ever read anything I have written or has submitted a question to the mailbag. These are the only way we are able to interact directly. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to ask them. I will do my best to provide the best answer possible. Happy reading. Here are this week’s questions and answers.
